Flashforward2006 Arrives in Seattle


The preeminent Flash® technology-focused conference opens its doors Monday, February 27th.

Miami, Florida – February 24th, 2006 – After months of preparation and anticipation, Flashforward2006 Seattle will finally open its doors Monday, February 27th at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center.  Now in its 15th edition, Flashforward2006 will be held in Seattle for the first time ever with attendees flying in from places as far as Ghana, Korea, and South Africa.  Some of the highlights include:

•Adobe Keynote – Given by Senior Vice President and Chief Software Architect, Platform Business Unit, Kevin Lynch.
•Flashforward2006 Film Festival - The most innovative Flash work in the world will be showcased and awards for 15 categories will be handed out by this year’s Miss Washington, Tiffany Doorn.
•Exhibit Floor – Over 20 Exhibitors will be on the floor of the Washington State Convention and Trade Center from 9am-5pm, Monday 2/27 – Thursday 3/2.
Sessions – Five different tracks of sessions and workshops will be taking place throughout the conference, including:
•How and Why Homestar Runner Cartoons Get Created.

Jib Jab’s Animation Processes
Adobe Technology Track – Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from leaders shaping the industry and also meet and brainstorm with Adobe’s After Effects Development Team, the Audition Development Team, and the Flash Product Team.

Flashforward2006 is the largest and longest-running Flash® technology-focused conference in the world. In a period of six years, the conference has been attended by over 20,000 professionals from more than 45 countries, in industries ranging from design to animation to motion graphics. This year, Flashforward2006 Seattle will house exhibits and over-60 workshops and sessions, conducted by acclaimed speakers and industry professionals, all designed to give attendees a competitive edge in the market.
