Belleair
The State of Florida is a state in the southeastern United States. Florida is situated mostly on a large peninsula between the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Straits of Florida. It extends to the northwest into a panhandle, extending along the northern Gulf of Mexico. Florida's nickname is the Sunshine State but severe weather is a common occurrence in the state. It is bordered on the north by the states of Georgia and Alabama, and on the west, at the end of the panhandle, by Alabama.
Belleair is a town in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. It should not be confused with Bel-Air, Florida, in Seminole County, or Belair, Florida, in Leon County. It was also the residence of professional wrestler, Hulk Hogan before the family moved to Miami Beach in 2006. Scenes of the town are shown in the reality show, Hogan Knows Best. Pinellas County is a county located in the state of Florida.
According to the United States census bureau, the town has a total area of 7.3 square kilometers. 4.6 square kilometers of it is land and 2.6 square kilometers of it is water. There were 1,973 households out of which 17.9 percent had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.1 percent were married couples living together, 5.4 percent had a female householder with no husband present, and 37.9 percent were non-families. 34.2 percent of all households were made up of individuals and 21.3 percent had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.04 and the average family size was 2.58.
In the town the population was spread out with 16.2 percent under the age of 18, 2.5 percent from 18 to 24, 20.1 percent from 25 to 44, 28.5 percent from 45 to 64, and 32.6 percent who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 53 years. For every 100 females there were 84.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 79.1 males.
It is also known as the city of best geographical environment and has traced its origins back to prehistoric times. Today, one can also learn about its history, from its earliest times and can also enjoy its natural beauty concealed by the beautiful landscapes.
