South Pasadena




The State of Florida is a state in the southeastern United States. Florida is situated mostly on a large peninsula between the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Straits of Florida. It extends to the northwest into a panhandle, extending along the northern Gulf of Mexico. Florida's nickname is the Sunshine State but severe weather is a common occurrence in the state. It is bordered on the north by the states of Georgia and Alabama, and on the west, at the end of the panhandle, by Alabama.
 
South Pasadena is a city located in southern Pinellas county in Florida, near St. Petersburg. The population was 5,778 at the 2000 census and according to 2004, the population recorded by the census bureau was 5,745. According to the United States census bureau, the city has a total area of 3.0 square kilometers of which 1.8 square kilometers of it is land and 1.2 square kilometers is water. There were 4,555 housing units at an average density of 2,586.3 per square kilometers.
 
The population was spread out with 2.9 percent under the age of 18, 1.5 percent from 18 to 24, 9.7 percent from 25 to 44, 22.8 percent from 45 to 64 and 63.1 percent who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 71 years. For every 100 females there were 63.9 males. For every 100 females of age 18 and over, there were 62.6 males. The city is a small, quiet Florida gulf coast community nestled conveniently between southwest St. Petersburg and the southern beaches of Pinellas County.

It is well suited for virtually any industry.
