Bunnell




The State of Florida is a state in the southeastern United States. Florida is situated mostly on a large peninsula between the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic Ocean and the Straits of Florida. It extends to the northwest into a panhandle extending along the northern Gulf of Mexico. Florida's nickname is the Sunshine State but severe weather is a common occurrence in the state. It is bordered on the north by the states of Georgia and Alabama and on the west at the end of the panhandle by Alabama.
 
Bunnell is a city in Flagler County, Florida, United States. The population was 2,122 at the 2000 census and according to the United States census in 2005 the city had a population of 1,479. It is the county seat of Flagler County and it has a total area of 12.1 square kilometers which is covered totally by land and the population density was 175.8 per square kilometers.
 
In the city the population was spread out with 23.2 percent under the age of 18, 9.4 percent from 18 to 24, 25.0 percent from 25 to 44, 24.5 percent from 45 to 64 and 17.9 percent who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 40 years. For every 100 females there were 90.0 males and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 88.8 males. In Bunnell, there were 959 housing units at an average density of 79.5 per square kilometers.

The city of Bunnell is often regarded as among the most beautiful parts of Florida and it is one of the most visited places amongst the most die hard travelers the world over.
