Bronson




The State of Florida is a state in the southeastern United States. Florida is situated mostly on a large peninsula between the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic Ocean and the Straits of Florida. It extends to the northwest into a panhandle, extending along the northern Gulf of Mexico. Florida's nickname is the Sunshine State but severe weather is a common occurrence in the state. It is bordered on the north by the states of Georgia and Alabama and on the west at the end of the panhandle by Alabama.
 
Bronson is a town in Levy County, Florida, United States. The population of the city was 964 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Levy County. According to the United States census bureau, Bronson has a total area of 10.5 square kilometers and the population density was 94.2 per square kilometers. In the town the population was spread out with 29.1 percent under the age of 18, 12.0 percent from 18 to 24, 24.3 percent from 25 to 44, 22.6 percent from 45 to 64 and 11.9 percent who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females there were 81.9 males and for every 100 females age 18 and over there were 76.5 males.

The town is also famous for their varsity basketball teams which are coached by Kelly Beckham. The little town of Bronson also brought to bloom several aspiring young minds and any have gone on to excellent careers in medicine or cuisine while some like transplant native Thomas J. Bryant have even continued writing poetry, short stories and plays. Bo Diddley is probably the most famous resident of Bronson. The town is often regarded as among the most beautiful parts of Florida.Today, one can also learn about its history, from its earliest times and gain enthusiasm in its natural beauty and populace. The town has undergone some improvement in various fields and enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers.
