Lake Park




The State of Florida is a state in the southeastern United States. Florida is situated mostly on a large peninsula between the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Straits of Florida. It extends to the northwest into a panhandle, extending along the northern Gulf of Mexico. Florida's nickname is the Sunshine State but severe weather is a common occurrence in the state. It is bordered on the north by the states of Georgia and Alabama, and on the west, at the end of the panhandle, by Alabama.
 
It is located in the southeastern United States along the Atlantic seacoast of Florida, the town of Lake Park, was chartered as Kelsey City in 1923. Lake Park is a community with an overall population of 8,721 according to the 2000 decennial census. A small town by population, Lake Park is home to several industries including, but not limited to, construction, manufacturing, and retail and wholesale trade.
 
Lake Park lies within the West Palm Beach-Boca Raton, Florida metropolitan statistical area, and is situated north of the city of West Palm Beach, Florida. Magazine has identified in its March 2004 issue as one of the ten best cities for doing business in America.
