The State of Florida is a state in the southeastern United States. Florida is situated mostly on a large peninsula between the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Straits of Florida. It extends to the northwest into a panhandle, extending along the northern Gulf of Mexico. Florida's nickname is the Sunshine State but severe weather is a common occurrence in the state. It is bordered on the north by the states of Georgia and Alabama, and on the west, at the end of the panhandle, by Alabama.
 
It was founded as a lakeside community in the late 1940's, the town of Lake Clarke Shores was incorporated in 1957, and consists of approximately 1,500 dwellings. The population is approximately 3,600. Lake Clarke Shores is located in Palm Beach County, Florida. Pine Tree Park dedicated in 1999, Pine Tree Park is located on the corner of Pine Tree Lane and Forest Hill. The park offers a landscaped walking path surrounded by various shade trees. Lake Clarke Shores Garden Club is very active in the community. The Garden Club maintains a butterfly garden located at Town Hall.
 
Lake Clarke Shores is definitely one of the popular tourist attractions in Florida worth paying a visit while touring the country. This place leaves a pleasing and unforgettable memory and justifies the proud cultural tradition of Florida.
